NOTES FROM THE PCC MEETING AT ST
JAMES ON
THURSDAY 17th JANUARY 2008
* Our charitable giving in 2007 amounted to £6,792.00, approximately 11% of our income. If the amount given to the Appeal is taken into account, this increased to 13.5%.
* Appeal events continue to bring in much needed money for the Reordering of the Church. We have to find around another £216,000!!
* Most of our Teams have now met and have put forward reports.
* Work on the overhaul of the organ is proceeding. A glance at the pipework in the north aisle shows only too clearly the scope of the work in hand.
* During Lent/Easter, visiting clergy will be preaching at St James' Sunday services.
